Since 2019,  I have been looking for a piece of recreational property, close to Dallas, along the Trinity River flyway, with the potential for trophy bass fishing, upland preserve hunting, and excellent duck hunting. In 2024, working with a group of five partners, we were able to purchase a unique collection of beautiful properties totaling over 3,500 acres, just 20 minutes south of downtown Dallas. Much of the property was formerly used as a strip mine for gravel, sand and select dirt. My partners and I have been improving these properties and the wildlife benefits to create a very special private club called “Cottonwood Sporting Club.” Ownership interest in this club will be limited and invitation only.
